60 year old killed over property dispute in UP

Jaunpur: An elderly man was killed over a property dispute in the Shekhpur village in the Nevadhiya police station area of this Uttar Pradesh district, police said on Monday.
In view of the tension in the village, police force from two stations has been deployed in the village to maintain peace.
Police here said that three real brothers–Sabhashankar Yadav, Badri Yadav and Bacchan Yadav–own a piece of land at the Joorpur-Gopalapur road in the Shekhpur village.
Sabhashankar and Bacchan Yadav have constructed a house on their share of the land. Badri Yadav was constructing a house on his land.
Meanwhile, Dharmpur village resident Molai and Shekhpur village resident Naseem Ansari reached the spot and started asserting their ownership over the land.
As an altercation took place over the matter and the matter heated up, Molai and Naseem beat up Sabhashankar Yadav (60) with lathis and sticks along with their aides. Sabhashankar died on the spot due to the critical injuries.
Upon receiving information from the deceased’s relatives, police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
After registering a case based on the written complaint of the deceased’s relatives, police is on the lookout for the accused.
