5 airlines to begin domestic at Jammu Airport today

JAMMU: As many as five airlines will begin their operation, following all Standard operating procedures (SOPs) put in place at Jammu Airport, sources said on Sunday.
However, the Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also allotted the slot of arrivals and departures for the airlines operating from Jammu from Monday onwards.
Nearly 8 flights will arrive and similar number of flights will depart from the Civil Airport here.
Official sources at the Jammu Airport here told UNI, “the slot has been allotted and the operation will resume from tomorrow nearly after 50 days of suspension due to countrywide lockdown in view of Coronavirus.”
He said that five airlines will start its operation from Monday.
Three Air India flights will arrive from Srinagar, one from Delhi, three SpiceJet flights will arrive, one Vistara and one Indigo from Delhi but still clouds over Indigo and GoAir flights arriving from Mumbai and no confirmation yet received.
Sources further said that for departure, Air India (2 flights) will be departing for Srinagar and Delhi, SpiceJet (3 flights) for Srinagar, Gwalior and Delhi, Indigo (2 flights) Srinagar and Delhi, Vistara to Srinagar and GoAir to Srinagar.
