218 Indians flown in from Milan shifted to quarantine centre at ITBP camp

New Delhi: The Indians who landed from Milan, Italy at the Delhi airport on Sunday have been taken to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s Camp in Chhawla, where they will be quarantined.
The 218 Indians that included 211 students from Milan landed in Delhi this morning who were flown in from Milan by Air India.
All of them will be quarantined for a period of 14 days, beginning Sunday, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said.
‘218 Indians including 211 students from Milan landed in Delhi. All will be quarantined for 14 days. GoI is committed to reach out to Indians in distress, wherever they are ! Appreciate Govt. of Italy for their support and team,’ MoS External Affairs said in a tweet.
On Saturday after completing requisite quarantine period and being tested negative twice in 16 days of stay, 112 Wuhan evacuees, including 36 foreigners, left the ITBP facility, Chhawla, New Delhi in different batches.
