Srinagar:
At least three people including a wildlife employee were injured in a bear attack in Awantipora sub district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.
They said a bear was found in the Chattrogam village of Tral this morning following which the locals informed the wildlife officials.
“The wildlife officials reached the village and started a rescue operation. However, during the operation a wildlife official and two local were injured in the bear attack,” an official said.
All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
