SMVDU Researcher Wins Young Scientist Award

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) Researcher Ms.Vidushi Abrol, Research Scholar, Dept. of Biotechnology has has brought laurels to the institution.

She won the first prize in Oral Presentation for her paper, titled “Improvement of Tolypocladium inflatum Through Chemical Mutagenesis for the High Yield of Cyclosporine” at National Conference on Fungal Biology: Recent Trends and Future Prospects & 44th Annual Meeting of The My cological Society of India, held at University of Jammu.

Her research work has been highly appreciated and in the past couple of months and she has achieved many awards including 2nd Prize in the oral presentation at three-day National Conference on “Interdisciplinary Aspects of Plant Sciences” and 27th APSI Scientist Meet which was organised by the School of Biotechnology, SMVDU, Katra, in collaboration with the Academy of Plant Sciences, India during 2nd-4th Nov., 2017.
