DODA :As part of Nation-wide Customer Awareness Programme dur- ing the month of November, the Reserve Bank of India, Jammu today conducted an intensive awareness pro- gramme at Community Hall Doda . The programme aims at improving customer relation with financial insti- tutions and general aware- ness on extant regulations to protect consumer interests,
alternative grievance redress mechanisms, safe banking practices, etc., under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, RBI Kehta hai, Jankar Baniye, Satrak Rahiye Programme is being organised by vari- ous Banks and RBI all over India from 1st Nov to 30th Nov.

RBI Ombudsman Ramesh Chand discussed in details about complaints & redressal mechanism, Digital frauds and avenues available to customer.
Sushil Kumar Hans, RM SBI discussed about cus- tomer grievance Redressal mechanism, customer’s rights and other issues related with financial insti- tutions working under RBI.
Dy Commissioner, Doda while speaking on the occasion urged the public to remain vigilant of cyber frauds and asked the RBI officials to give wide publicity to the safeguards available for the customers and circulate the helpline number among them through which they can register their complaint in case they feel cheated.
