Prez, V-P condole death of Amar Singh

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday mourned the loss of Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh who passed away in a Singapore hospital.
Offering his condolences to the bereaved family, the President in a message said “Sad to hear about the demise of Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh. Rich in multidimensional personality, Singh was a talented MP.”
Reacting to the news, the Vice President said “In this hour of grief, I express my heartfelt condolences to his family and associates and pray to God for the peace of the departed soul. Om Shanti,” the message said.
The Rajya Sabha MP and former Samajwadi Party leader passed away at 64 in Singapore where he was undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailment over the past few months.
