Police to act though against bovine smugglers: SSP Samba

SAMBA, NOV 7: The Samba Police will act tough against the bovine smugglers and no smuggler will be spared at any cost, said SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan while talking to Greater Jammu correspondent Abhishek Badyal.
The SSP said, within a period of 10 months Samba Police had registered 104 FIRs against the bovine smugglers, seized 97 Vehicles used in this illegal trade, arrested 105 smugglers beside rescued 651 bovines from their clutches. Moreover 5 smugglers have been detained under PSA. The SSP said that many times the bovine smugglers attack the police party but the fearless and active cops are foiling the smuggling bids. The SSP further said that bovine smugglers will not be speared at any cost as the trade is illegal.
