Jammu’s bicycle-sharing system records 2.89 lakh rides, to complete one year of operations in May

Jammu:

The public bicycle-sharing system, introduced for the first time by the Jammu Smart City Limited last May to boost eco-friendly mobility, has recorded over 2.89 lakh rides, an official said on Saturday.

More than 23,000 people have used the service since its launch, he added.

The system allows users to rent out a bicycle from designated automatic docking stations and deposit it at another located close to their destination.
