Jammu Crime Branch books Lecturer for forging fake transfer orders in DSEJ

Jammu: The sleuths of Jammu Crime Branch on Friday booked lecturer for forging fake transfer and posting orders in the Directorate of School Education, Jammu.
Official spokesman here said that the sleuths of Crime Branch Jammu registered a formal case against Arfat Ahmed Khan, Lecturer Computer Science, Jakyas, District Doda of BalandPur, Assar, Doda and others for issuing forged and fictitious transfer and posting orders in School Education Department under relevant sections of law for in-depth investigation.
Director School Education Jammu submitted a formal complaint to Crime Branch alleging that while scrutiny, some fake and forged transfer and posting orders of lecturers in School Education Department Jammu were noticed and it was suspected that some teaching and non-teaching staff of the department may also be involved in it and their continuance without getting identified may lead to more such cases and thus required probe.
The spokesman further said that the Crime Branch, Jammu initiated a preliminary enquiry during which his involvement has prima facie been established for his role in issuing fake and fictitious orders of transfers and posting in School Education Department, which also includes his own transfer from HSS JakyasDoda to GGHSS Kishtwar among others.
FIR has been lodged and investigation initiated, he added.
