Jammu, Director General Border Security Force, Dr S L Thaosen, who is on a two day visit, on Saturday reviewed the prevalent security scenario in the bordering Rajouri-Poonch belt of Jammu and Kashmir.
A BSF spokesman said that accompanied by P V Rama Sastry, ADG (Western Command), D K Boora, IG, BSF Jammu and Senior Police and CRPF officers, the DG was briefed by DIG BSF Rajouri. DG BSF reviewed the overall deployment of BSF and also domination plan on FDL’s.
DG BSF also had security related discussions with DG J&K Police and other CRPF commanders based in Rajouri and Poonch area.
DG BSF later visited Army authorities based at Rajouri and held security meeting with them.
He visited the FDL areas in Poonch and interacted with BSF Jawans there and exhorted them to deliver their best at all times.
The two-day visit of DG BSF concluded in very a cordial atmosphere.
DG BSF reviewed the challenges and present security situation during his visit to BSF Field locations in Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch.
DG BSF also interacted with Jawans on ground and praised them for excellent duties, dedication and professionalism.
