CM Yogi launches month long drive against communicable diseases

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched a mega campaign against communicable diseases for next one month in the entire state.
The function held at the official residence of the CM was attended by several state ministers and officials. Some senior ministers also launched the drive in different districts.
Meanwhile, the state was going for mega surveillance of COVID-19 in Meerut division which includes Ghaziabad and Noida from Thursday when health team would reach every house to screen the people and do a survey of the ailing people due to other illness.
The CM said that during the monsoon season communicable diseases were also likely to spread in the state.
“We have to be aware of the communicable diseases along with Coronavirus by keeping our area clean and following all preaucations”, he said.
