Srinagar:
Four militant associates of The Resistance Front (TRF), which is an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, have been arrested in Srinagar, police said on Tuesday.
They said the four were involved in grenade attacks in Srinagar and used to provide logistical support to active militants of TRF.
“Four terror associates of TRF arrested by Srinagar Police. These terror associates were involved in grenade attacks in Srinagar & used to provide logistical support to active terrorists of TRF. Explosives and ammunition recovered…” a tweet by Srinagar Police said. It added that a case has been registered under relevant sections of anti-terrorist law UAPA.
The TRF had recently issued a threat to local journalists following which a First Information Report was registered.
