NC, PDP should not contest Lok Sabha, Assembly Polls: Sat Sharma

JAMMU, DEC 5: Reaching out to booth level in Jammu West Assembly to strengthen the party, an impressive programme was organized at ward no 32 by BJP Mahila Morcha, which was attended by a large number of women hailing from different areas of the ward. A number of women also joined the party fold who were welcomed into the party by BJP senior leader, Sat Sharma accompanied by State Secretary, Praduman Singh; State Secretary, Veenu Khanna; State President Mahila Morcha, Rajni Sethi; District President, Ayodhya Gupta; District President MM Veena Gupta and other senior functionaries of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma welcomed the new entrants in the party fold and said that women of our nation are empowered today. Women of India excel everywhere and in every sector thereby making the nation, he added. Taking a dig at political parties like NC and PDP, Sharma said that many seats in our State were reserved for womenfolk in Municipal and Panchayat elections, which were boycotted by parties like NC and PDP. He further said, “Now NC and PDP should also boycott upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls because they do not want the delegation of power at grass root level. They want all the powers in their hands and such a thing is dangerous for development of the State.”
Speaking on the occasion, Rajni Sethi highlighted various welfare schemes initiated for women by the Central and State Governments and asked them to avail for the same. Ayodhya Gupta asked the newly entrants to reach out to people at grass-root level for promoting the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi across the State. Veena Gupta elaborated the achievements of Central Government, which improved the lifestyle of women across India and asked the new entrants to work with dedication in upcoming polls for ensuring victory of the party.
