J&K wins 3 Judo medals in Sub-junior Nationals

JAMMU, SEP 12: Young judokas brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir winning 3 Bronze medals in the just concluded Sub-Junior National Championship at Una in Himachal Pradesh yesterday. As per reports reaching here, Tazeem Fayaz, Ragav Singh and Vipul Yashoyar won 3rd positions in their respective weight groups. Other four judokas namely Eshan Saini, Arnav Gupta, Nirali Sharma, Irbita Javed lost in the pool final thus performed well in the competition. The State team was accompanied by J&K State Sports Council Coaches, Arshi Nad and Shafakat Shafi while Manish Chatwal was the Contingent Manager.
Meanwhile, the J&K Judo Association has congratulated the medal winners and other judokas, who lost in the pool final for the improved performance.
