Enhancing customers’ awareness

Dear Editor,
Through the medium of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of various banking companies towards making publishing of their institution magazines and news-letters permanent and regular feature. Moreover it should be ensured that the publications reach maximum customers as the same goes a long way not only in enhancing awareness of the customers besides enhancing the business of the banking institutions. In this regard I would like to appreciate the Bank of India (BOI) Officers’ Association of Gujarat unit for releasing its first e-magazine “GARV” on Bank’s foundation day in Ahmedabad. The General Secretary Shvetang Trivedi and his entire team deserve praise for their commendable efforts as the magazine will be now be circulated on a quarterly basis to all Officers. While this magazine is launched to develop closer contacts with members through this medium of communication, BOIOA-GARV is now a text book to understand each other, to understand Banking management and day today happenings in the said Bank. Though it will inspire all officers for a new beginning enlighten with hope, confidence and faith in each other in the road ahead, yet it would be appreciable if the magazine is aimed at also making the customers aware about the banking benefits and easiest ways to avail the facilities. While Employer-Employee educational news journals on happy peaceful and purposeful relationship between the two are abundantly available it is hoped that the concerned stake holders start publishing customer oriented magazines and news-letters to benefit the customers.
