JAMMU, SEP 7: Large number of Congress and National Conference leaders from Sunderbani today joined Bharatiya Janata Party in presence of BJP State president Ravinder Raina (MLA) and other senior party leaders at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Impressed by the people-centric approach and good governance by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre Government, many Congress and NC leaders from Sunderbani, led by Rajinder Sharma (Congress), Ex-Councillor; Ashok Kumar Sharma (NC), ex-Panch and Surjit Singh joined BJP in presence of Ravinder Raina, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta, Prabhari Rakesh Mahajan, District president Capt Som Dutt and other senior leaders.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the new entrants, welcomed them into the party fold. He termed the moment as historical and said that day by day more and more active workers from other political and social groups are joining the BJP owing to party’s selfless policies. He said that the persons who have joined the party today, have played an important role in the positive developments in society and Nation.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, while welcoming the new entrants, wished them all good luck in their future endeavour work. He said that the new entrants will get full cooperation from the organization. He also said that the BJP has today grown to a massive establishment due to the organizational merits.
The new entrants, while speaking to the media persons, claimed that they have joined the party as they were impressed by the selfless governance by Modi led Centre Government. They also lauded the good work by the local MP and MLA for always attending to the issues of local masses. They said that they will work day and night to ensure growth of party in the region.
