AAI signs MOA with Delhi Public Library under Corporate Social Responsibility

NEW DELHI, SEP 5: In an endeavour for adding value to enhancement of Literacy among underprivileged class, Airports Authority of India (AAI) has signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Delhi Public Library (DPL)under the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of AAI by contributing `3.25 crores for “Purchase of 5 Mobile vans for extending the mobile library services in the slum areas, economically weaker section of society in Delhi/ NCR with Home to Home knock, Home to Home Book”.
The MOA was signed by Dr. M K Bimal, AAI, Airport Director, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi and Dr. Lokesh Sharma, Director General, DPL in the gracious presence of A K Pathak, Member (Plng),AAI, Dr. Ram Sharan Gaur Chairman, DPL, Sanjeev Jindal, GM (Engg & CSR), AAI and officers from both the organizations. The Signing Ceremony was organized in the Corporate Head Quarter (CHQ) Office of AAI and detailed discussion was also made to achieve the target in the most effective way.
