De-addiction counselling center inaugurated at Batote

RAMBAN, SEP 1: On the initiative of District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat and SSP Anita Sharma, NGO, “Technyme For All” established a Drug De-addiction Counselling Centre (DDCC) here at SKME Hospital, Batote.
The centre will operate in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services and District Administration Ramban and function under supervision of BMO Batote and CMO Ramban.
In this maiden Centre in Ramban district, the drug addicts will be given free medicines as well as the counselling by Dr Sahil Gupta to help them give up the addiction of all types of narcotics and lead a normal life.
The centre was inaugurated by the Tehsildar Batote Srinath Suman in presence of DySP(Hq), MR Giri and founder of “Technyme For All” (NGO), Dr Jagdish Sharma, Dr Rinku Sharma, Homoeopathic Psychiatrist de-addiction specialist, Dr Sahil Gupta, prominent citizens Bharat Gandhi, Narinder, Kour besides civil society members.
