GJ REPORT JAMMU, AUG 30: Eighteen Inspectors have been promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police vide two separate orders issued by the Home department. As per an Order issued by Principal Secretary Home Department, R K Goyal, 11 Inspectors (Executive) have been placed as Incharge DySP (Executive) on stop-gap basis. “Sanction is hereby accorded to the placement of 11 Inspectors (Executive) as Incharge DySP (Executive), in their own pay and grade, with the benefit of charge allowance, as admissible under rules, for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis, on the recommendations of DPC/PSC, whichever is earlier,” the Order reads. The promotee Inspectors included Qazi Syed Mahmood, Bashir Ahmed Shah, Ajaz Ahmed Shah, Surinder Khadyal, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Shamas Ud Din Parrey, Abdul Aziz Ganai, Abdul Rashid Mir, Nissar Hussain Dar, Tahir Kousar and Abdul Hamid Dar. Meanwhile, seven Inspectors (Ministerial) were also placed as I/c DySP (Ministerial) on stop-gap basis in their own pay and grade. The promotes included Pawan Gupta, Darshan Singh, Mohammad Rafee, Abdul Majid Rather, Ghulam Mohammad, Riyaz-Ud-Din Masoodi and Fareeda Akhter.
