JAMMU, AUG 18: Centre of Excellence for Kidney Transplant, SPS Hospitals Ludhiana, only hospital in South-East Asia to be accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI USA) within two years of its inception, announced the successful completion of 120 kidney transplants, with satisfying results which are at par with any other centre in the region with success rate of more than 95pc. This was stated by Dr Ajay Angirish, CEO-SPS Hospitals, Dr Vikas Kumar, senior consultant Urology and Transplant Surgeon and Dr. Rahul Kohli, senior consultant and Coordinator Nephrology and Transplant Medicine from SPS Hospitals Ludhiana while addressing a press conference here today.

Dr Rahul said that diseases related to kidney could be life threatening and it required a proper diagnosis at good hospitals.
