Army jawan injured in sniping fire by Pak

GJ Report Jammu, Jul 13: Two Army soldiers on Friday suffered injuries in two separate incidents including one in sniping shot fired from across the border in Akhnoor area here. “An Army jawan on Friday evening suffered injuries due to sniping by the Pakistan in Battal area of Akhnoor here on outskirts,” official sources here said. They said that the jawan identified as Naik Raj Singh was rushed to the hospital in Akhnoor and his condition is stated to be stable. Meanwhile in another incident, Naik Surinder Kumar, of Rashtriya Rifles, resident of Haryana got injured on Friday when his service weapon went off accidentally. He was admitted to the Military Hospital, Satwari.
