Shiv Sena protests in city over poor state of roads

JAMMU, JUN 12: Members of Shiv Sena (Bal Thackeray) today held a protest demonstration at Tope Bridge over shabby condition of roads, lanes and drains in Mandlik Nagar. The demonstration was led by the senior leaders of Shiv Sena such as president Dimpy Kohli, chairman Vipin Hindu and working president Ashwani Gupta. While addressing the gathering the leader of the party said that the road leading from the Top Bridge to Mandlik Nagar is in such a bad condition that one cannot even take a walk. Adding, that even Nallah which is kept open by the authorities is never cleaned therefore making it difficult for the nearby residents to breath.
Slogans were raised against the concerned administration for their non-seriousness and also for denying fundamental rights of residents.
The party warned the authorities to get the problems of the area sorted or else they will be forced to block the traffic on Akhnoor Road.
Others who were present on the occasion were Nathpal Choudhary, Rakesh kak, Sanjeev Kumar, Jarnail Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Arun Gupta, Shubam Manhas, Ankush Bhau, Raman Sharma, Deeraj Jamwal, Tarsem Lal, Sanjay Raina, VinodKumar, Joginer Pal and Madan Lal.
