Another hottest day in Jammu at 41.5 degrees

Jammu, Jun 12:
As there is no respite from hot weather conditions, the winter capital of the state yet again recorded another hottest day on Tuesday with maximum temperature touching 41.5 degree Celsius.
Jammu yet again witnessed hottest day as the mercury has started soaring after a spell of fresh rains. “Due to rains last week, the temperature, which was 5 to 5 degrees above from normal, has come down but it again started soaring and on Tuesday, maximum was recorded 41.5 degree Celsius,” said a weatherman. He said that the minimum temperature was 27.2 Degree Celsius.
However, he predicted for Wednesday that the sky will be mainly clear with Maximum and Minimum temperatures will be around 42 & 27 degrees respectively.
Meanwhile the hill stations across Jammu region like Bhaderwah, Patnitop, Nathatop, Sanasar, Kishtwar, Bani, are witnessing heavy rush of visitors including tourists and locals in view of heat wave in the plains.
All Government and Private Schools are closed in view of summer vacations from June 4 to July 23.
