SEMOK Ladakh organises students’ interaction with DC

KARGIL, JUN 2: Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer LAHDC Kargil Vikas Kundal interacted with students and youth at Conference Hall Baroo.
The interaction was organized by Students Educational Movement of Kargil (SEMOK Ladakh). The meet was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil (ADC) Kacho Emtyaz, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kargil Kacho Ishtiyaq, Chief Education Officer, Mohmmad Mussa and District Information Officer Mohmmad Ali Tak.
The programme started with the welcome address by Sima Iqbal of SEMOK. Students of different schools put forth their educational grievances like use of students into political and religious rallies, and demanded redressal of the same. They also highlighted problems being faced by the students in Degree College Kargil. They also demanded construction of washrooms in Govt schools, drinking water facilities, common room for female students, noise free schooling, transparent transfer policy, amendment in recruitment policy of DSSRB Kargil, adoption of JKSSB pattern and 50% relaxation of bus fare to students.
Deputy Commissioner listened to the problems patiently and assured redressal at the earliest. He said that he will visit Kargil college and interact with the students.
