5 KAS Officers transferred; Dir Health Kmr designated as DG

GJ REPORT JAMMU, May 31: The government has ordered transfers and postings of five KAS Officers with immediate effect. According to a Government Order issued today, Mohammad Aslam, Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Gujjar and Bakerwals, vice Mukhtar Ahmad Choudhary who has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department. Gulzar Ahmad, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Srinagar, shall hold the charge of the post of Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. Sukhpal Singh, Assistant Commissioner in the Commercial Taxes Department, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Kathua, vice Rajeev Kumar Khajuria, who has been posted as Personnel Officer in the Directorate of School Education, Jammu, vice Afsan Masood. Masood has been posted as Collector, Land Acquisition, Public Works (R&B), Jammu, against an available vacancy. The government also ordered designation of Director, Health Services, Kashmir as Director General, Health Services, Kashmir. “Consequent to his promotion to a Common Pool post vide Government Order No. 685-GAD of 2018 dated 24.4.2018, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director Health Services, Kashmir, is designated as Director General, Health Services, Kashmir,’ an Order issued by General Administrtaio0n Department reads. The government also ordered posting of Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, KAS, Chief Executive Officer, Urban Development Agency, Kashmir, as Officer on Special Duty with the Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, with immediate effect. Meanwhile, The government has ordered repatriation of Superintendent of Police (SP) Shakti Pathak to the Home Department. “In partial modification of Government Order No. 795-GAD of 2018 dated 11.5.2018, Shakti Pathak, Superintendent of Police, under orders of transfer as Officer on Special Duty in the Industries and Commerce Department, is hereby repatriated to the Home Department (his parent department), with immediate effect,” Government Order No.929-GAD of 2018 reads. Pertinent to mention that Pathak was deployed as Officer on Special Duty with Dr Nirmal Singh during his tenure as Deputy Chief Minister. But after the Dr Singh’s resignation as Dy CM and taking Oath as Speaker, Shakti Pathak was under orders of transfer as Officer on Special Duty in the Industries and Commerce Department.
