Militants carry out two grenade attacks in Pulwama

SRINAGAR, MAY 30: Militants carried out two grenade attacks on security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir today but there was no loss of life or damage to property, an official said.
The grenade attacks on security forces took place this afternoon at Tral and Pulwama towns of the south Kashmir district, a police spokesman said.
There was no loss of life or property in the two attacks, he said adding the incidents were being investigated.
Meanwhile, Militants on Wednesday late night attacked army’s patrolling party at Qaziabad forests in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that a group of militants opened fire upon the army party in the forest area.
The fire, according to sources, was retaliated, triggering off a brief gunfight.
When reports last came in the searches to trace out the militant group is going on in the area. (Agencies)
