KCSC wins by six wickets in JKCA tourney

JAMMU, MAY 17: KC Sports Club (KCSC) today registered a 6-wicket win against Evershine Cricket Club in ongoing JKCA Premier Championship of district Jammu at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first after winning the toss, Evershine Club made 174 runs losing all their wickets in 27.3 overs. Sahil and Parvinder Singh were main scorers with 43 and 33 runs respectively while Ravinder contributed 30 runs to the total. From KCSC, R Pandit emerged as most successful bowler and took 3 wickets while Devats and Shubham Gupta shared two each.
Later, KCSC overhauled the opponent total making 175 runs in 27.5 overs losing 4 wickets. Sunil Kumar played fine innings of 68 runs studded with 3 sixes and 4 boundaries. Vikas and Mohit added 40 and 26 runs respectively while Sunny claimed 2 wickets and Ravinder shared apiece. Sunil was declared as Man of the Match for his match winning knock of 68 runs. Rahul Kumar and Ashok Singh were umpires while Saleem-ur-Rehman maintained scorecard.
