Police committed to extend cooperation to boost tourism industry in Kargil: SSP

KARGIL, MAY 12: In order to promote better relationship between District Police and the local Tourist industry, a meeting was today held here which was presided over by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kargil T Gyalpo.
President All Kargil Trade & Tourism Association (AKKTA) Ashraf Ali welcomed SSP Kargil and other officers and put forth grievances. He informed that they intend to undertake adventure sports like rafting in Kargil but local Army unit has some objections.
SSP Kargil T Gyalpo assured them to take up the matter with the Sector Headquarters to resolve the issue. He also assured the participants that District Police Kargil is committed to extend all possible help and cooperation to boost tourism industry in Kargil.
Later, Additional SP Kargil Arun Gupta while addressing the members also sought cooperation from them regarding submission of C-Form, registration of employees hailing from outside the state, installation of CCTV Cameras etc.
Among others, Assistant Director Tourism Aga Toha, DySP Hqrs Kargil Ishtyaq Ahmad Kacho, DySP DAR Kargil Regzin Sandup, SHO Police Station Kargil Inspector Ghulam Ali, I/C DSB Kargil and General Secretary AKKTA Nasir Munshi were also present on the occasion.
