Day PDP-BJP formed Govt, Pak sponsored elements created unrest in J&K: DyCM

Jammu, Apr 19: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh on Thursday said that the day PDP-BJP government was formed, Pakistan and its sponsored elements created unrest in the state.
“The day (March, 2015) we formed government with the PDP in alliance in the state, all forms of elements, who are against the democracy, brotherhood, harmony and peaceful atmosphere played a spoilsport,” Dr Singh told reporters here this evening.
He said that Pakistani and Pakistani sponsored elements tried to polarise the situation because they have no guts to beat us on governance front and added, “”what we did in the last years is not hidden from anybody.”
“Either it was issue of return of Kashmiri Migrants to their homeland or setting up Sainik Colonies in Kashmir, these elements raised a bogey of demographic change,” he asserted.
Dr Singh however, said that even the opposition parties played a negative role while the Pakistani henchmen, tried to polarise the situation but the people of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly of Jammu, foiled all their designs by showing strength of unity and diversity besides communal harmony.
On Kathua rape-murder case, Dr Singh said, “it was an unfortunate incident and all those, who will be guilty will face the punishment.”
Lambasting the Congr-ess, he said, “the agents of Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad tried to politicise the issue in Jammu by staging protests and taking out candle march but it is not an issue, which is to be given a political or communal colour.”
“It is a matter of justice to a minor girl,” he asserted.
On audio clip circulated on social media exposing people involved in raising funds in the name of Kathua victim, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “I have also heard the clip and handed over to the probing agencies and whosoever will be the culprit, will be punished”.
Meanwhile on the demand of transferring case to the CBI, he said, “the investigation is in the ambit of the Court and further action will be taken accordingly after the Court directions.”
He however, also assured probe into an alleged Kulgam scandal wherein a law maker allegedly sexually exploited a girl.
Earlier Dr Singh welcomed the Supreme Court decision of dismissing a malicious and scandalous PIL in the case of death of justice B H Loya.
The Court has observed that it was a natural death of the Justice Loya and no independent inquiry is required.
