NIA team arrives ‘Chakkan da Bagh’ in Poonch

Jammu: A team of National Investigation Agency on Wednesday arrived at Chakkan-da-Bagh Trade Felicitation Centre and is likely to conduct raids in alleged terror fundings.
“An 18-member team on Wednesday morning arrived at Poonch for Chakkan da Bagh,” police sources here said.
The sources said the team has reportedly visited Chakkan-da-Bagh in connection with ‘hawala’ money racket, adding, “The hawala money laundering by the Pakistan through trade cannot be ruled out as previously also such incidents were reported and besides money, weapons and consignment of drugs were seized on many occasions.”
After tightening noose against separatists in Kashmir last year, the team also conducted raids in Jammu and Poonch and nabbed some persons in hawala racket and money laundering through trade. (UNI)
