Fraudster arrested by police

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a fraudster in the downtown city, a police spokesman said here on Tuesday evening.
He said yesterday at 1530 hrs, Police Station Rainawari came to know that one Owais Sideeq Qurashi, resident of Chakrar, Poonch, Jammu is collecting money in the form of Bank Demand Draft favouring Dogma Soft Ltd at Gulshan Hotel Saidakadal Rainawari Srinagar in order to deceive and cheat people for providing jobs.
An FIR was registered under section 420 RPC and investigation of the case was set into motion.
Accordingly, under the directions of Superintendent of Police (SP) City North and under the supervision of SDPO Khanyar Raja Zuhaib Tanveer, SHO Police Station Rainawari G P Singh immediately swung into action and raided the hotel and all the records were seized and office sealed.
The main accused, who is also self-styled proprietor of Dogma Soft J&K Ltd was also arrested. The bank account of the proprietor of Dogma Soft Ltd was also sealed.
He said hundreds of the youth who were present near the office of Dogma Soft at Saidakadal Rainawari have hailed the timely police action which have saved not only youths of Srinagar but whole state as advertisement for employment was for all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Police has requested general public to verify such advertisements in future. Investigation of the case is going on, he added.
