BMS, Anganwadi workers to observe Black Day on Feb 20

JAMMU, FEB 16: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) and Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association will observe Black Day on 20th Feb 2018 against Budgets of Central and State Governments. Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association (A unit of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh) will hold demonstration/ dharna on 20th Feb, 2018 at Jammu, Udhampur, Billawar, Kathua and Samba against Budgets of Central and State Governments, as both the Governments have deliberately ignored all Scheme-workers including Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, Midday-meal workers, National Health Mission employees, MGNREGA employees and others.
This was informed by Subash Verma (President BMS), Ashok Choudhary (General Secretary), Swarna Choudhary (President Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association) and Neelam Sharma (General Secretary Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association) while addressing a joint Press Conference here today.
The leaders further appealed to all the employees to support the protest demonstration besides participate in large number.
They urged the Prime Minister and Chief Minister to fulfill long pending demands of low paid workers without any further delay.
