Congratulates ISRO for successfully launching its 100th satellite

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday congratulated Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for successfully launching its 100th satellite from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. “I congratulate the entire team at @isro on successfully launching its 100th satellite from Sriharikota,” Mufti wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter. In its first mission of 2018, the space agency on Friday successfully launched its 100th satellite from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh (AP). The successful launch comes just over four months after ISRO’s unsuccessful launch of IRNSS-1H following a technical glitch just prior to its scheduled orbiting in space on August 31, last year.
