JAMMU: A Meeting of the Members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association was held here under the Presidentship of Lalit Mahajan, in presence of Suresh Mahajan, Sr Vice President, Varun Singla, Vice President, Ajay Langer General Secretary, Vivek Singhal Secretary and Viraaj Malhotra Treasurer and other members. The members hailed the Budget presented by Finance Minister Dr HaseebA Drabu in which most of issues related to the Industrial Sector, as highlighted by BBIA in the Pre-Budget discussions, have been resolved. “We convey our gratitude to the Chief Minister, Dy. Chief Minister for providing relief to Industrial Sector in the Budget which will provide a great relief to the Existing Industry,” said the BBIA members. We request the Govt. to consider the measures for the survival of MSME Sector of the State including reimbursement of 5 percent Incentive on Turnover and other Incentives like Reimbursement of Provident Fund, ESI and Electricity Duty. Removal of Negative List of the Raw materials used by the Industrial Units for the manufacturing of Finished Goods. Removal of Negative List for the Industrial Units in respect of SGST/CGST Reimbursement. Transport Subsidy Incentives should be given to all the Units for Interstate Sale upto Destination in spite of beyond 1000km.
