Guv, CM, Dy CM, others wish people on New Year

JAMMU: Governor N.N. Vohra, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh have greeted people of the State on the eve of New Year.
In his message the Governor has wished the people of Jammu and Kashmir a bright and happy New Year and prayed that 2018 would usher peace and normalcy which would promote progress, prosperity and well being of all sections of the society.
In her message, the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti hoped 2018 to be a year of development, peace, harmony, progress and social integration in the State.
I earnestly pray that the New Year brings along joy, happiness, peace and prosperity for our people who have suffered immensely,” the Chief Minister said in her message.
Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh in a message hoped that the coming year would usher in the state an era of peace, prosperity and overall development besides also strengthening the bonds of love, compassion.
Chairman, Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali, Speaker Assembly Kavinder Gupta and Council of Ministers have also greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of New Year.
In their separate messages, they hoped that the coming year would usher in state an era of peace, prosperity and overall development besides also strengthening the bonds of love, compassion.
Chief Secretary, B B Vyas in his felicitation message on the occasion hoped 2018 to be a year of peace, progress and prosperity for the people of the State.
“I pray that the New Year brings along joy, happiness and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir”, B B Vyas said in his message.
In his greeting message Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Prof. Bhim Singh stated “The world needs an end of all battles and wars, end of hatred regimes and spread of human love and glory for mankind so that the world shall live longer and people shall live in peace without hatred and with no conflict. The holy message for the year 2018, is international peace, total disarmament, functioning of democracies with human rights and dignity for all human being of all religions, all faiths, all races across the globe.”
