Interlocutor reaches Jammu, meets Guv, CM

JAMMU, DEC 27: Dineshwar Sharma, Special Representative of the Government of India for the Dialogue in Jammu and Kashmir, met the Governor N.N. Vohra and the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here today.
Sharma’s today’s meeting with the Governor at the Raj Bhavan here in the evening is their sixth meeting since Sharma was appointed as interlocutor.
Sharma informed Governor Vohra about his just concluded visit to the Valley and tentative plans regarding his future engagements.
The Special Representative of the Centre, Dineshwar Sharma, who is currently on a visit to the State, called on Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today.
During his meeting with the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, Sharma briefed her about his consultations with a cross section of society during his present stay in the State.
Sharma according to sources in Kashmir met People’s Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone and Minister of State for Health Asiya Naqash. Sources said that he board the flight for Jammu alongwith Sajad Gani Lone, Asiya Naqash, CK Prasad Chairman Press Council of India, Syed Rifat Alam Chairman UP HRC and Chairman JKCA Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari.
Sources further said that Sharma will meet cross section of society in Jammu as well besides meeting the mainstream politicians.
