Several welfare schemes under implementation: Sham Choudhary

JAMMU, DEC 24: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary said that the Government has been working tirelessly for the development and welfare of people and for the purpose various schemes are under implementation in the state.
The Minister was speaking at the public grievances redressal camp held at R S Pura today to assess the peoples’ problems of Suchetgarh and R S Pura Constituencies.
Speaking with the individuals and deputations from Agra Chak, Begha, Phlora, Seer Ballah, Satrayian, Purana Pind, Pindi Sarochan, Talahar, Chakrohi Kotli Arjun Singh and adjoining areas which participated in the camp, the Minister said that the Government has started various developmental projects for the benefit of people particularly living in border belts and far-off areas of the state. He asked people to come forward and avail the benefits of schemes launched for their welfare.
Addressing some problems of people through telephonically talking with the authorities, the Minister also gave written instructions in some cases to the concerned authorities.
Earlier, the Minister attended annual day function of a public School where he highlighted the importance of education, saying that the students should take keen interest in their study.
The students presented colourful cultural programme on the occasion which was highly applauded by the audience.
