Pak yet again violates cease fire in Nowshera, Army retaliates

RAJOURI, DEC 22: Pakistan today yet again violated cease fire in 24 hours by targeting forward Indian posts of Nowshera of border district Rajouri. However the Indian army retaliated effectively.
Sources revealed that today evening Pakistan violated cease fire in Nowshera including forward locations of Lam by using automatic machine guns and heavy mortars which was effectively retailed by Indian Army
Sources further added that firing continued for half an hour during which they targeted posts situated near civil areas which led to a wave of panic for villagers.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the second cease fire violation in Nowshera sector within 24 hours with locals of these areas remaining stuck to their houses for safety.
“We are ready with all kinds of safety measures and when needed we will take prompt action to rescue civilians by shifting them to safer places” said DDC Rajouri Shahid Iqbal Choudhary.
He added further that with these incidents Pakistan actually wants to provoke Indian forces but we have already put the required machinery on alert to act promptly.
