2 Jawans critically injured in mine blast

RAJOURI: A wave of panic prevailed in forward locations of Poonch when two army jawans got critically injured in mine blast explosion in bordering district Poonch. The injured army jawans were shifted to nearby health institution and the condition of both is stable after treatment. Sources revealed that two army jawans got injured in mine blast explosion in forward area Bump of border district Poonch and were treated in Army Hospital Poonch and both injured jawans are critical. Injured jawans have been identified as Sep Rakesh and Sep Wulung Thung of 02 Naga unit presently located at forward posts of Gulpur. Sources further added that both jawans were on regular patrolling with other jawans of the unit and they inadvertently touched the mine under the track which exploded and both got injured. After this incident they both get shifted to Army Hospital situated in Poonch where they were treated by team of doctors and after their critical situation both of injured jawans were shifted to Command Hospital Udhampur for further treatment. “Both of injured jawans are in critical condition and have been shifted to command hospital for further treatment” said Senior Army Official. He added that after this incident we have issued advisory for all jawans not to track near by the mine areas.
