MLA uses unparliamentarily language against Police

POONCH, DEC 17: Use of unparliamentarily language by MLA Mendhar against Police created unprecedented scene during a public function organized in Mendhar. MLA Javed Rana used unparliamentarily language against Police during a function, organized to inaugurate Eklavya school, in the presence of the Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali and other senior officers.
Sources revealed that MLA Javed Rana used word ‘Dallaa’ for Police and same was publicly opposed by SSP Poonch, Rajiv Panday, which later on converted into exchange of heated words between two public servants. SSP Poonch publicly opposed usage of the said word by the MLA and asked him to apologize for the same.
Sources further revealed that after this unprecedented scene and protest slogans by locals, Zulfkar Ali alongwith other senior officers and politicians pacified the situation.
Soon after the incident, a number of protests were held against the MLA for using such unparliamentarily language against Police in a public function, demanding stern action against the MLA.
Condemning the word used against Police, PDP Mendhar unit said that the MLA has forgotten that he alongwith others are protected by the same Police, whom he called as ‘Dallaa’. Locals in Poonch have also staged protest against MLA Mendhar, Javed Rana for using such unparliamentarily and abusive language against Police.
