GJ REPORT KUPWARA, DEC 7: The Union Joint Secretary (RL) Rural Development Department, Atal Dulloo today convened a meeting to review progress of developmental works under core sectors of district Kupwara. District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir gave a detailed presentation on performance of key-developmental sectors under different activities carried out by the departments within the district launched under centrally sponsored schemes. The Joint Secretary was briefed about the performance of various key-Developmental sectors like education, health, sanitation and water, agriculture, horticulture, animal and sheep husbandry, irrigation, PHE, floriculture, R&B , rural development schemes being implemented in the district on the guide lines of central and state governments. Speaking on the occasion, Joint Secretary impressed upon the District Administration to formulate composite Action Plan and identify deficiencies in various sectors. He assured full support on behalf of Central Government during the countrywide workshop in New Delhi under NITI Aayog meeting which will schedule on December 19, 2017 in which all members of all states are going to participate. The Joint Secretary also sought suggestions from different experts of implementing and executing agencies during the course of interaction, in which the key sectoral experts gave their valuable suggestions to review the implementing schemes by them.
