Extra-marital affair leads to shoot out in Kishtwar, CISF man kills wife, 2 others

Kishtwar, Nov 30: A jawan of CISF on Thursday shot his wife and two others to death over alleged extra-marital affair reasons in Kishtwar district.
“During the intervening night of November 29-30 at about 0200 hours, Police received information through the CISF DHEP Unit that one Constable of CISF killed his wife, colleague and his wife by shooting at them with his service rifle,” Abrar Ahmed Choudhary, SSP Kishtwar here said.
He said that police team was immediately rushed to the spot and added, “on visiting the scene of crime, it was found that the dead body of constable’s wife was lying in a pool of blood in his residential Quarter No S-161, whereas the dead bodies of his colleague and his wife were lying in a pool of blood on the floor of their residential Quarter No S-165”.
Accused deceased identified as Ingalapu Surendar, son of Ingalapu Babu, resident Sangam, Denthe-labra, Paloncha, District Khammam, Telangana was arrested, he added.
The deceased persons were identified as Lavanya (accused’s wife), his colleague Constable Kekane Rajesh Kiran, son of Kekane Kiran Bhausaheb, resident of village Chincholi, Sinner, District Nashik, Maharashtra and his wife Shobha Rajesh Kekane.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the cause of crime seems to be some extra-marital issues and further investigation of the case is going on.
“We have registered a case under FIR number 253/2017 under section 302 of RPC at Police Station Kishtwar”, he added and said that weapon of offence has also been seized while after legal formalities on the spot, police has removed the dead bodies to the mortuary room of District Hospital.
On the requisition of police, Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar has constituted a board of Doctors including a Surgeon specialist, Gynaecologists and a medical officer for conducting post-mortem of the dead bodies.
