Dilbag asks CD wardens to remain extra vigilant, improve working

GJ REPORT JAMMU, NOV 25: A meeting of Senior Wardens of Civil Defence Organisation Jammu was held here under the Chairmanship of Dilbag Singh, Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF. Shabir Ahmed Malik, SSP Staff Officer to Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF, Joginder Singh, SSP PCR, Jammu and Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu were also present in the meeting. At the outset of meeting, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu welcomed the Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF and highlighted the performance of Civil Defence Wardens and Volunteers. Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF asked the wardens to remain extra vigilant in their areas and to help the poor, elderly, children, disabled persons and directed them to keep liasion with the Police and Civil Administration. He also talked about the efforts being made by the department. Commandant General appreciated the work done by Civil Defence Wardens Volunteers and emphasized for more improvement to make their work beneficial for the people. A large number of Civil Defence Wardens including Chief Warden Paramjit Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden Ranjit Singh, Divisional Warden Santosh Magotra and Deputy Divisional Warden Jagdish Kumar were present in the meeting. Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Anita Pawar delivered the vote of thanks.
