Army conducts lecture on career guidance

GJ Report Udhampur, Nov 23: In an endeavour to motivate the students of rural areas, build their confidence and promote their talent, the Reasi based Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarters, organised a lecture on career guidance for students. The event was conducted at Presentation Convent School, Reasi; Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jyothipuram and DPS Katra. Over a period of six days from 17 November to 23 November 2017 multiple lectures were taken for the students hailing from the remote areas of Reasi, Jyothipuram and Katra such as Personality Development, Career Options, Handling Implicit biases and building of self esteem at Presentation Convent School, Reasi, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jyothipuram and DPS Katra. A total of 365 students benefitted through guidance on various career options which they can choose after completing 10th/12th Standard, new fields of career options available and soft skills required to achieve success in life. The Principals of Presentation Convent School, Reasi; Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jyothipuram and DPS Katra on behalf of the students, expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for organising such events to boost the morale of the students, encourage talent and provide impetus in fostering confidence amongst the future generation of our great country.
