Council committed to improve educational scenario in Kargil: CEC

KARGIL, NOV 16: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan today said that effective coordination and meaningful interaction among teachers, parents and students assumes greater significance so as to inculcate positive behavioral traits and competitive spirit among the students.
CEC stated this while addressing the Annual Day function of Government Model Middle School Lankore at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
The CEC said that the Council is in the process of taking all possible steps to improve the educational scenario in the district and several concrete measures are underway in this regard.
Students showcased their talent with impressive items like songs, qawwali, comedy, rhymes, skits, Hindi song and dance, magic tricks etc.
Meanwhile, responding to the demands raised by the school authorities and members of the management committee, the CEC assured to allocate funds for the construction of fencing, renovation work and link road for the school under District Plan next year.
The CEC also announced Rs 10000 in favour of the students who participated in the cultural and other variety programmes held on the occasion.
Executive Councillor for Education Advocate Muhammad Amir, several officers of the district administration, members of the school management and village education committees, teachers and students besides scores of prominent citizens including parents of the students attended the function.
Later, the CEC and other guests gave away prizes and certificates to the meritorious students and teachers of the school.
