LJSP concerned over problems of border villagers

JAMMU, OCT 11: Concerned over the problems being faced by the border villagers, State unit of Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) urged upon the government to provide alternate safe shelter to the suffering people.
Addressing a press conference here today, LJSP’s State General Secretary Bodh Raj, who paid a visit to some of villages along Line of Control (LoC), said people living in border villages are often subject to dislocation and displacement which physical as well as psychological impact. They are being forced to leave their homes due to cross-border firing which has an adverse impact on the community, he said.
Alleging that State government is not serious towards the resolution of the problems of people living along LoC, he appealed the MLAs representing border constituencies to highlight the issues of the border people. He also urged upon the State and Centre govt to take serious note of the issues and provide alternate safe shelter to the people so that the people can play significant role in the development.
Raman, Vicky Gupta, Ram Saran, Ajay Singh and Chaman Lal were also present.
