JAMMU, SEP 13: The oldest multilingual literary organization, Adbi Kunj today held special tributes meet at Kidzee School, Jammu in the memory of two legendary personalities, Dr O P Sharma Sarthi and Lala Jagat Narayan, veteran social reformer and journalist. On the occasion, a special multilingual Mushaira ‘Sawan Kavi Darbar’ was also organized, which was presided over by a well-known Urdu poet, Ushaq Kishtwari whereas Urdu poet, Harish Kumar Mani was the Special Guest. Ved Uppal conducted the proceedings of the meet.
In his welcome address, President Adbi Kunj, Sham Talib paid tributes to O P Sharma Sarthi and highlighted his contributions for upliftment of the organization. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman, Aarash Dalmotra paid their tributes to Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan and highlighted his achievements in various fields.
During multilingual Mushaira ‘Sawan Kavi Darbar’, a number of poets presented their verses which included Aarash Dalmotra, Usuaq Kishtwari, Harish Kumar Mani, O P Shakir, Raz Reyaz Sohail, Fozia Naseem Zia, S K Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar, Malik Singh Wafa, Rajeev Kumar, Raj Kamal, Bishan Dass Khak, Romesh Rahi, K R Sadotra, Chaman Sagoch, Vinod Katib, Rakesh Tripat and Sham Talib. The meet culminated with vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman Adbi Kunj.
