JAMMU, SEPT 1: The 39th meeting of the Governing Body of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super-specialty Hospital, Kakryal was held here under the chairmanship of Dr S S Bloeria, Member of Shrine Board and Chairman of the Governing Body of the Hospital.
The Governing Body undertook detailed review of latest status of various upcoming diagnostic and treatment facilities at the Super-specialty Hospital, Kakryal in sync with emerging requirements. In this context, it was informed that all the required arrangements are being put in place as per schedule for operationalizing PET CT Scanner at SSH Kakryal in order to make the facility available for patients by December this year. Dr. Bloeria emphasized that keeping in view the infrastructure and other requirements of SSH Kakryal in the near future, there is urgent need for working out required modalities for ensuring the timely arrangements in place. He also emphasized for the need for early setting up of tele-medicine facility at the tertiary care hospital for benefit of people of remote areas of the State. The Governing Body also reviewed the functioning of the Jammu OPD of the SSH, Kakryal and suggested several measures for bringing about continuous improvements in the facilities for the patients. On recommendations of FAC, the Governing Body approved granting of 50% discount on room rent given by the Hospital to lactating mothers during their wards/ infants ICU admission time.
