NPSU, Young Panthers take out ‘Yuva Rosh Rally’

JAMMU, AUG 30: Demanding immediate scrapping of Article 35A, National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) and Young Panthers today took out a ‘Yuva Rosh Rally’, which was attended by a number of activists from both the organizations.
Led by State President NPSU, Thakur Virendir Singh, the activists raised a number of slogans demanding scrapping of Article 35A with immediate effect.
While addressing the gathering, Singh said that only Kashmir leadership cannot decide fate of whole J&K. Singh said that Kashmiri leaders are misleading masses on Article 35A and Article 370, as both are two distinct Articles and the former has nothing is do with the latter.
“For the last 63 years, people of J&K have been deprived of their fundamental rights due to Article 35 A. Despite being the citizens of India, J&K people are forced to live without their fundamental rights due to the Article,” he added.
Singh further announced that NPSU is going to intervene in the case of Article 35 A through Prof Bhim Singh, Sr. Executive Member of Supreme Court Bar Association of India as Council, demanding scrapping of Article 35A.
While speaking on the occasion, State Vice President Young Panthers, Partap Singh Jamwal questioned criminal silence of BJP on the crucial issues. “Before elections, BJP had promised to scrap Article 35A and 370 but after getting in power, has completely forgotten its promise, just to remain in power. This dual standard of BJP has exposed them completely in front of public and people are well aware that BJP has nothing to do with their issues. BJP only wants power and can compromise anything just for lust of power,” he added.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Baldev Singh, Ajit Chand, Lovely Singh, Rishi Badyal, Ravinder Jamwal, Anil Rakwal, Chenta Sharma, Avdesh Sharma, Kewal Sharma, Rudar Partap Singh, Surya Dev Singh, Vishu Sharma and Ashish Choudhary.
